Separately, Cloudflare has opened a waitlist for its Monetization Gateway, a new product that lets operators charge for any asset sitting behind the Cloudflare network — web pages, datasets, APIs, or Model Context Protocol tools — with payments settling in stablecoins via the open x402 protocol, requiring no proprietary payments infrastructure from the seller.
